At Aran Homes, we provide flexible, person-centered support for adults over 18 who are living with mental ill-health and learning disability needs and who require supported living services. Every individual receives a comprehensive Support Plan and a positive Risk Management Plan, carefully designed in collaboration with the service user, our dedicated staff, professional teams, and families/carers as appropriate.
Each person is matched with a nominated key worker who helps them achieve personal goals and deliver tailored support that promotes independence, safety, and wellbeing.
Tenancy Support & Independent Living
We help individuals manage their home safely, sustain their tenancy, and build essential daily living skills like budgeting, cooking, and healthy routines.
Health & Medication Support
From managing prescriptions to monitoring mental and physical health, we provide support to stay on top of healthcare and access necessary services.
Training, Employment & Community Access
We support users in finding purposeful activities, training opportunities, or employment, and in connecting with their local communities and interests.
Emotional Wellbeing & Personal Growth
Our team empowers individuals to make informed choices, build confidence, by supporting recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Referrals
Our services provide accommodation and support for adults over 18 who are considered to be vulnerable due to an established history of mental ill-health and learning disability needs, where there is an identified need for the service.
Referrals are appraised individually in accordance with our risk management procedures. Crucially, placements are offered to individuals who are willing to engage in support planning and local services in a meaningful way and who demonstrate the potential to benefit from the service.
In offering a placement we must ensure the individual’s safety, personal, social and support needs may be met whilst enabling them to be as independent as possible.
Safeguarding & Advocacy
We ensure individuals are protected from harm, understand their rights, and are supported to speak up through access to advocacy services.
Behavioural & Community Safety Support
We offer guidance to help service users stay safe in the community, manage behaviours positively, and build respectful, healthy routines.
Substance Use Support
Personalised plans to help reduce dependency on alcohol or drugs, promoting recovery, self-awareness, and healthier coping strategies.
Moving On & Future Planning
When the time is right, we help individuals transition into more independent living by building confidence, life skills, and support networks.
